BlackSmith Exchange Antiques has a variety of antiques, collectibles, art and other unique items that are offered for sale. Owners, Leigh Black and Margaret Smith have bought, sold and collected antiques for many years. Notably, Leigh Black is a third generation antique dealer and is right at home in their unique and charming store.

The shop, formerly Helsel's Market, was a small, neighborhood market that opened in 1916, and operated in days gone by. The flavor of the little store has been preserved through the renovation process. Rather than meats and canned goods, colorful crockery and period glassware line the original shelves. An impressive oak walk-in cooler has been restored and retrofitted as display and storage. Shoppers at BlackSmith Exchange enter a time capsule of days gone by to browse the goods. Purchases are wrapped in butcher paper from the original holder on the old oak counter.
